The term “cairn” is of Gaelic origin, and although Scots are commonly linked to these rock sculptures, they have been integrated into numerous cultures worldwide. Used throughout history as guides and markers, cairns have served various purposes, from ancient times to the present.

Building cairns provides a meditative journey, exploring balance, aesthetics, and creativity. In Rock Zen, the main focus is on constructing a cairn by selecting rocks amidst tranquil environments and music.
The free version offers 2 levels and 8 rocks for crafting rock sculptures. For enthusiasts, a single in-app purchase priced at $4.99 unlocks 6 additional backgrounds and 8 more rocks including obsidian, lapis, agate, petrified wood, and others.
When choosing a rock, it descends from above allowing you to adjust its orientation and position before placement - balancing them delicately on top of each other. Dropping a rock onto the stack requires a double click.
As the stack grows, the challenge intensifies as maintaining balance gets trickier. Overloading it will cause the structure to collapse.
Dive into the gameplay by creating unique rock formations or pushing your limits to stack rocks as high as possible.
The game incorporates calming ambient tunes by Kosta, Ars Sonar, Lee Rosevere, Christopher Alvarado, M.Nomized, Mystified, Sylphides, William Spivey, PCIII and many more.
Cairns aren't everlasting structures. They do not guide you along a path or indicate directions; instead, they act as aids marking one's personal journey.
